Website Auditor (free version available) – I’ve been using the SEO Powersuite of tools for a while & Website Auditor makes it easy to perform 1 click audits to find problems. It has a class-leading TFIDF tool to help you on page optimization.
Screaming Frog (free version available) – I use this tool if I’m auditing huge sites. Although this is for the more advanced SEO, it doesn’t take too long to figure out.
Ahrefs (trial available) – The fully featured site audit tool will automatically scan your site for problems every week and sends weekly reports direct to your inbox.
SiteChecker PRO (Free Audit Tool) – Get the free SEO report by 100+ parameters with the best website audit tool. The detailed site analysis will help to find technical issues and calculate SEO score.
Ahrefs (trial available) – They have the best data in SEO industry. And that includes both keyword data & traffic data which makes it easy to find awesome keywords.
SEMRush (14 day free trial) – They have lots of marketing tools to make keyword research easy and effective.
RankTracker (free version available) – Not only the best rank tracker but also provides a ton of keyword research features like being able to find every keyword your competitor currently ranks for.
LongTailPro (free trial available) – This was one of the best desktop based keyword tool and they recently moved it to the cloud to make it easy to do keyword research no matter where you are.
KWFinder (free account available) – Mangools is an alternative to Ahrefs that does most of the things that Ahrefs does. You get KWFinder (most favorite tool), SERPWatcher (rank tracker), LinkMiner (backlinks checking tool) and SERP checker (SERP monitoring tool).
Ubersuggest (Free Keyword Tool) – Ubersuggest helps you generate decent keyword ideas for your content marketing strategy and find the related long tail and LSI keyword. With Ubersuggest’s free keyword tool, generate unlimited keyword ideas.
AnswerThePublic (Free Account Available) – Find out the questions and queries that consumers search on Google by getting a free report of the keyword suggestions.
Link Assistant (free version available) – Just select from the different types of backlinks like guest posts then follow the wizard to find prospects, automatically find their email addresses & send bulk Outreach.
GSA Search Engine Ranker – This is the arsenal of link building. Supports over 100 ways, find targets, posts to them, verify emails and checks the links are live all in one tool but you must pay close attention to quality and relevancy.
OneHourIndexing – If you want to get your backlinks indexed quickly and easily, OneHourIndexing is the service for you.
Guest Post Tracker ($99 for lifetime access)– This is the Largest List Of Guest Posting Sites where you keep an updated list of blogs that accept guest posts.
GroupHigh (free trial available) – Here you can find bloggers and social media influencers, reach out research and review websites, measure content and the results of influencer marketing and blogger outreach.
BuzzStream (Free Trial Available) – Web-based tool that helps the marketers to promote their products, services, and content to build high-quality backlinks through email outreach and guest posting.
Disavow.it by Distilled (Free Tool) – disavow.it allows you to quickly and simply compile/clean a Google Disavow file, ready to upload to Search Console.
NinjaOutreach (Free Trial Available) – Influencer Marketing & Blogger Outreach tool that streamlines your influencer marketing and lead generation process with automated outreach.
BuzzSumo (Free Account Available) – BuzzSumo has become an essential tool for marketer and content creator and we are continuing to uncover new uses over time.
Ahrefs (trial available) – There is no doubt that Ahrefs is the king of backlink checkers. They dominated every single test I’ve run & continue to experiment with new tools.
SEMRush (14-day free trial) – SEMRush also has a pretty comprehensive database of links that you can download and use to your advantage.
SEO Spyglass (free version available) – Although they have a smaller database of links, SEO Spyglass can still stand on its own feet and is the only desktop based backlink checker.
Google Search Console (free) – If you want to download the backlinks of your own website, you can do that for free in Google Search console. Just click Links at the bottom of the left-hand menu.
Rank Tracker (free version available) – This is the most comprehensive rank tracking tool on the market & allows you to check rankings up to 1,000 search results in 500 different search engines. It also tracks universal search results in Google like images, videos, news, shopping, places, books, local rankings, maps, YouTube videos & competitor rankings with no limits.
SEMRush (14 day free trial) – If you want something more cloud-based, then SEMRush offers daily updates but is limited to the first 100 pages of results.
SERPRobot (from $5/mo) – SERPRobot is a cheap and accurate rank tracking tool that I use to stay on top of the rankings of the most valuable keywords of each site.
Social Media & Content Marketing
Hootsuite (free version available) – if you want to manage your Facebook page, Twitter profile, LinkedIn profile, YouTube channel & more – HootSuite is perfect. It also has some great team features to share social accounts without sharing passwords.
Buffer (free version available) – You can also use buffer to manage all of your Social profiles which works in a similar way.
Crowdfire ( free account available) – Crowdfire is a powerful social media tool used by businesses and individuals all over the world to drive social media engagement and growth.
Quuu – Quuu ensures you’ll always have relevant content to share with your audience on social media.
Copyscape Plagiarism Checker – Copyscape is a free plagiarism checker. The software lets you detect duplicate content and check if your text is original.
Grammarly – The Grammarly helps you write mistake-free and with ease. It provides hundreds of checks and features.
MailChimp (free account available) – This is one of the most important tools both from a business perspective and an SEO perspective. If you are not using email marketing, you are leaving a lot of money, traffic.

WordPress Plugins & Themes
GeneratePress (from $49.95 lifetime licensed) – It’s essentially a free WordPress theme, but it’s premium modules take it to a next level. Lightweight, highly flexible, extremely fast right out of the box, clean schema-optimized code (good for SEO). Perfect for using alongside page builders like Thrive Architect and Elementor. Webfixin is built on GeneratePress.
Smush Pro (free account available) – It’s a WordPress image compression plugin that has the best balance between compression and image quality. It can automatically resize large images and compress all images as you upload them on your site. If your site’s pages have a lot of images, compressing them will result in faster page load times and much better user experience.
Other Online Tools
Canva (free account available) – Not everyone has enough Photoshop skills to design beautiful graphics and images for their websites, and this is where Canva comes. It’s way faster and is enough to design most graphics, thanks to its countless templates that are also available in the free version.
Pixabay (free tool) – One of the largest collection of free stock photos among all images websites. Lets you download images in super high-resolution if you need it (some are as large as 5000px wide). Helps you avoid the potential copyright issues of using images straight from Google Images.
Snappa (free trial available) – Snappa makes it easy to create any type of online graphic. Create & publish images for social media, blogs, ads, and more!
